What's the life of a cricket bat? I have collected (or bought!) 6 bats till now. Haven't gotten to the 3rd one as yet - it just doesn't look like the current 2 I am using are going to fail anytime soon. Meaning - the other 4 are in the garage :(.. I net with these 2 bats 4 times a week..
How do you guys manage with such complicated problems in life & put to use all that's in your armoury?

''Tis a problem only buying a new bat will solve unfortunately.. 😜

Tis a conundrum, I have 2 match bats (only for league games), 2 net bats (only used for nets until a match bat gets damaged the this goes up to a match bat) 1 big big bat, used against bola balls until it can be used in the nets. Couple I made myself which I am looking to use on the bola ball machine at some point!
I'm going to get a small duffel to keep my net kit in and leave at the club all year, the cycle to and from nets.
I'm sure this doesn't help. So but another bat!
Oh and I'm a bowler....

I have seven bats and on match day select the one I fancy using unless it's wet then it's the oldest bat.
Also never take my newest bat most expensive to away games because once i left a £250 bat in the away dressing room and when I went back for it it had disappeared

I face the same problem at times but I have divided my bats into match, nets and spare bats. I have 10 bats that I rotate throughout the season and then I have 15 nets bats and the rest of them are just for collection and at times I lend them to teammates to play.
