Wow that looks like a big bat, wish it was around 2.8 or 2.9

If that was the one in the kitchen on my last visit, then it is an epic bat!
Someone got an insanely good bat then! :o

I confess.
You have yourself a real gem their mate it's a lovely bat
-
I hope so. I had been thinking of getting a 50+ and by comparison this is good value with shipping and duty etc, plus a better weight, so looking forward to receive it and will put up some feedback once I have it and have used it.

I seen this bat and it's pretty special taps up very well indeed and if I didn't have my massive h4l this would of been in my kit bag really is a stunning bat what stickers you going for mate
-
I confess.
You need to publish match scoresheet for every single game this summer ;)
Great buy and enjoy your bat.
-
@Bats_Galore Lucky you!!
-
£450.. that's serious money :)
-
Serious bat!!
-
That looks like an absolute beauty. Is this any extra special compared to other H4L custom bat just because this was intended for a pro?

Extra special as it is super low density, the custom clefts are normally stunning pieces of wood and lighter clefts generally speaking, but this one is very rare and super super low density

I am looking forward to receive it. I decided to choose what it seems are the least popular h4l stickers, the NV ones, and asked to have no grade sticker, though I of course understand that may not be possible and could completely understand if it wasn't. Basically I hope the bat is great but want to play it down as much as is possible (which may be tough given its size).

that is an incredible bat hope it scores you alot of runs

How is the bat treating you mate? Any review?
-
The bat is beautiful and amazing. Sadly I haven't had a chance to use it as much as I would like, only a light net with bowling machine balls and a sidearm, but punches definitely go. Looking forward to a proper go with is next weekend. Hopefully will get time for a proper review soon.

Any more of these type of clefts floating around @H4Ladam?
Or @Red Ink Cricket

How is this bat going or went this season? It is very difficult to land a bat like that as vendors/makers won't offer it to general public first or at all.

I've said before, pay the money and get on the waiting list.
I don't think @Chad @JB @simonmay5 and at least 3 of our other customers would say it was difficult.

"Before"? Really? Where did you say that? Had I known that was the rule, I certainly would have complied and waited on the "waiting list". Plus, H4L also didn't respond to my emails - I sent atleast two...also CBF private messages.
Are your other 3 customers also based out of U.K.?
-
I was

This specific type of low density H4L has a waiting list, if you don't know that you can't ever have enquiried about one. I currently have 3 customers on the waiting list.
I may not have specifically outlined this to you @InternalTraining but here you are two years ago moaning about this type of bat being impossible to acquire, and I replied in similar fashion about them being rare but not completely inaccessible, but I've never had an email from you....

Of course you can, they just don't come along very often. This mutant B&S weighs a touch over 2'8 for example.
Where does it say "pay, and get on the waiting list."
The only place where I got any customer service about these big bad was Australia. I think the UK clefts were going to people who are showing up at the stores or workshops.
And, it is correct that I never emailed you. I thought reaching out to custom makers directly would solve the issue.

I may not have said it, although I'm pretty sure I will have done somewhere, but it's already been put in this topic: http://custombats.co.uk/cbforum/index.php?topic=41229.25 (http://custombats.co.uk/cbforum/index.php?topic=41229.25)

Stop moaning and order one!
-
I don't recall Jake saying it per se. But I thought it was understood that this service was available?
Step 1: Pick up telephone
Step 2: Mash keypad with the palm of your hand, hope to your God of choice that you hit the numbers in the correct order for H4L.
Step 3: Please can I have a Custom Pro?
Step 4: OK, here's some pennies, let me know when it's ready
? Perhaps it's not so simple. I've never done it myself. Though I'd love to be able to make that phone call.
-
Or just wait for one to pop up in the clearance section of their website and buy out of impulse and ask sensible questions of yourself later
A very common theme in my life :(
-
In all fairness had someone communicated to h4l or via Viyas or someone in regular contact rather than relying on the forum to be your bible then you may have already had one. Im aware Matt may be a very busy bloke and when i haven't been able to contact him ive gone through Simon and Jake who were happy enough to help :)
