Title: Keeping Glove sizes
Post by: HellomynameisJ on March 16, 2017, 06:13:41 AM
I've read a fair bit on the forum about softs purchased from India being smaller than the same product made for the western market, in particular my interest lies in wicket keeping gloves, I wouldn't consider my hands to be overly large nor are they small,  has anyone purchased keeping gloves from SS via an Indian retailer that could shed some light on how much smaller they really are? I normally use puma gloves which from what I've seen they are a tighter fitting glove compared to GN or Kooka.

Im not a keeper but from experience of using and buying gloves in the past id nuch prefer to just gp to a shop and try all the pairs they have on. Its a pain but you get what you want then

Indian wicket keeper products tend to be a bit smaller, that being said GN softs are made in India as well but they fit better in my hands.

But you can't go wrong with SS keeping gloves they're great

I've had a pair of SS bought in the UK and found they came up small compared to other  brands I've used like Puna, Slaz and B3.
I didn't get on with them and sold them eventually.
