Does anybody else think that cricket shoots itself in the foot a bit with the scheduling of international matches.
I appreciate games are played in different parts of the world and the series are decided by the relavent boards but on a number of occasions this winter there has been 3 tests being played at once on the same days and then nothing for a week and then the same 3 tests being played in different locations.
Wouldn't cricket be better off at least splitting these by a few days so there is the chance of having greater viewing figures on TV of each of these games?

Personally yes, I'd love if they split it around so that there was only one test on at any point, then I'd get to watch it all on the day and not have to watch some post event. However, given most boards want their games on x days to maximise crowds etc... who gets that and who loses out ?
Don't care about white ball, play on the same day please :)

Would require a functional icc to oversee such staggered scheduling . Would be nice though .
And as already mentioned , don't care about white ball either , so that , by all means can be on the same day .
