I am a total pain as a buyer. I paid in January and held off until the right shape and weight appeared. I was like a kid in a candy shop as all these options appeared. its definitely the same bat maker. Most of the bats look as good if not better and the press is perfect. no issues recommending BB's as I have knocked 4 and all have been immense. This bat is the norm rather than the exception.

@sarg - Couple of questions for you. Did the grains open up during knocking? I got the time spent from your videos, but what is the weight of your mallet?

one of 3 mallets that get used for different parts. LV is actually 800 grams and used for thr face. I have a older round head GN mallet I use initially for the edges and toe and a ball mallet for testing.
