Oh yes, we've done it again... another exclusive...
A new addition to the Redback range for 2010:
The Paradox
(http://img198.imageshack.us/img198/7428/paradoxface.jpg)
2010 Softs:
One pair of sausauge and one pair of very plain split gloves.
Pads are nice, not just a carbon copy like most brands, all softs were specially made for redback.
-
Looks another Pearler from Redback, great work on this exclusive Leo! Any images of the softs? Are they available from Gary at Redback yet?
-
What shape is this or does it replace a current model?
-
Doesn't replace any of the current models... will put some profile pics up...
-
Pete informed me it was a sort of hybrid between the allegiance and surefire. Looks very nice though!
-
Stickers look better than the black ones

thats GLORIOUS, when will it be available
-
and for how much?
-
Very nice profile. Similar to the old Hunts-County style and they were very nice playing bats. Futures looking bright for customBATS. Well done guys!!
-
love the profile!!
-
It's available now! I have 2 on order which I can't wait to see. As soon as I have some pics I will whack them up.

Any pics of the softs ? I love those blue stickers !
-
Have to say, that looks phenomenal. Absolutely gorgeous!
-
The blue looks very nice. Do you know if Gary has sent one of these to be reviewed in the Wisden Cricketer?
-
I'm not a huge fan, prefer the Allegiance look

Yes and No...
I sent a Paradox, but the mrs also put in a Surefire.... they have only reviewed the Surefire for the magazine but the paradox will be in the online reviews. Bit gutted really as the Surefire shouldnt have even been sent!
-
Hey Gary - never let a woman do a mans job!! ;)
-
Don't worry Gary I'm sure it will be fine... It will be good for them to see a traditional style bat in the mix
edit: By the way I dont like your Paradox bat it looks to good :-)
-
That bat looks gorgeous, might get one when my SG dies.
-
Yeah, wouldnt mind seeing the soft goods if you have any pics leo.
-
Will put some up now...
Edit: Here are the gloves...
Sausage is the choice of most of the pros, but split is Gary's favourite.

Should try and get the customBATS logo on the soft good. Or are they the finalised product?
-
Pads...
Modern Pads remind me slightly of the ayrtek/canterbury pads for some reason?

Not sure why Gary would have the custombats logo on his pads haha?
-
Ahh sorry, Ive been reading this thread as if he was launching a customBATS product range of his products. Sorry.
-
Simply Beautiful. Top Stuff Gary.
-
Leo, Do you know what prices the gloves are at?
-
1st time I have seen the use of shark tooth and squares on one glove! Nice simple look tho to give a classy, clean finish.
modern Pads have the use of foams instead of canes for the main central panel which should bring the weight of them down! Think the use of less colours is wearing off on me.
-
Pure class, will have to wait for sale time next year though!
-
I think that the pads and gloves look EXTREMELY professional and classy! The gloves look brilliant, simplistic and modern, and the pads look really nice as well. I love the profile of the bat, I think the blue stickers work extremely well and I will seriously consider taking the trip down to Redback when I get some cash, because the bat looks awesome!!
-
The Sausage gloves look classy and as good as I've seen for a while, like the first set of pads also ! But the sausage gloves really are classy.
-
could i buy a a pair of these pads now?
-
Any idea on prices for the benefit of everyone?
-
£50 ish for gloves and £60-£70 odd for the pads?? he wasnt sure when i asked ages ago but these were the rough guestimates he gave me then.... i think!
-
£50 for gloves wow nice but sorry not for me.
