Title: eBay B3 Refurb
Post by: velvetsky01 on March 28, 2017, 01:17:46 PM
Hi all,

I wanted to share my latest ebay bargain and its refurbishment now not bad for £80!

The bat was in good nick really when I bought it - though the willow was dry.

after removing the scuff there was no damage to the blade so it was a very easy job

I removed the Toe guard and again no damage to the toe!

and after a sand a good application of bat wax here it is (I still need to add a new grip(s) and apply Shoegoo to the toe

It looks pretty good even if you had paid £100. You have got yourself a good bargain bat for £80 mate. Have you checked how it ping?

Oh yeah I see what you mean I am not sure if it was done on purpose

Not had chance to use it yet but did a mallet test before the refurb and it sounded great. Balance is great too though it does have a round handle which I am not used to
