Folks,
Anyone have experience on Flicx cricket pitches?
Thanks!

In my experience, ball tends to skid a lot on Flicx pitch. The pitch I played on was also having some variable bounce.

Are they the plastic ones where grass can grow through?

I am not sure about the material it seems like plastic and rubber mix and yes the grass grows through.

Used to play at a club that had a flicx net, found it played pretty well to be honest, although it was laid over an old astro so would have been disappointed if it didn't. Was one of the ones with lines/length marked out, with a red area all the way down the centre of the wicket, which was a terrible idea - anything dug in short that pitched in the red was a nightmare to pick up!

We had one at our old club, it may not have been that brand. It was a bit of a death trap for the cover/mid wicket fielders until the grass really grew through it. To actually bat on it was fine. Fairly similar bounce to the grass wickets.

Have had mixed experiences, as a roll out pitch to use on the day as has been said before the ball skids on a lot and is variable in bounce. However as a permanent fixture that grass can grow through and bed into the surface they have been very good, unsure of the exact care guidelines but some light rolling initially helped the process and made it a more sustainable, low maintenance practice wicket
