Many of you may have seen the last topic about this bat, well i decided to send it for a full refurb etc and I've just received it back today. Really please with it and after speaking to Rob on a number of occasions i found more details which made this bat even more intriguing. Pick up is superb and my scales weigh it at 2lb 7oz but they ain't the best but id say they ain't far out.
It has an anti scuff fitted with 1 grip but no toe guard, had a quick test of it and its superb but too light for my needs which is very very disappointing as I'm possibly not going to use it myself.

bet it goes like stink!!
-
sure someone will buy it, it looks lovely.. Rob is amazing to deal with, goes over everything in so much detail.. can't wait till i get my custom from him..
-
First time I've dealt with him tbh but i agree a very nice guy and he stuck a note in with the bat saying if i wasn't happy with it for any reason just to let him know, but I'm more than happy and my Laver will be on its way for the same treatment but ain't as good as this unfortunately.

How much did he charge for this refurb?
-
£42 as i got him to replace the handle also.
-
And how much would you let it go for?
-
dont want to intrude , but sitonit he said to me yday that if it was a quick sale he would let it go for 180..

i would have though phil mustard would have used a heavier bat than that!
Looks really good though

you would be very surprised
-
nt very surprised no, just thought the type of player he is, and also the fact that most people on this forum use 2-10ish, and then a professional is using 2.7
-
no phil mustard well do ya ?
-
nope, but I do know a number of ex pros.
-
lots of pros use light bats mate and this is phil mustards
-
It looks great and I bet it goes really well!

Was this made by Puma or was it from a different manufacturer?

Why do you ask ?
It goes seriously well and I've been offered £130 from a friend so if anyone can beat that then make an offer if not then it will be off to a friend in the morning.
-
At a guess and jusging by the profile, I was think that its been custom made.
But left's be realistic here - if it's custom made for Mr M, then its gonna be a total gun of a bat!!
So in my opinion, I reckon whoever gets this bat will be pretty happy!

Watsontotty why u not replying to Uzair's emails ?

If you watch Phil bat he relies on bat speed for the power he can generate
