I know this thread needs pictures which I'll put on later but a few weeks ago I bought a Dyna drive off eBay. I always always wanted one. And yes I know its an ebay purchase, and yes I know Sports direct were selling them for £2.5 but I kind of wish I hadn't.... I've just been left a bit disappointed. Admittedly I have only had one net with it so I probably do need to give it a second chance but I guess it just wasn't love at first pick up and I'm not sure if it ever will be.
On the plus side halfway through the net I picked up my B&S forum purchase from lat winter and it gave me a whole new respect for how good that bat is....instantly felt right in my hands.
Anyone else coveted thy neighbours bat only to be disappointed?

This could possibly be the bat I bid on
Also brought bats based on nostalgia always GN and Been disappointed also pretty sure you can't beat modern bats.

Tried a g.n scoop a few months ago . It was new , big edges , modern version . Felt crap . I was comparing to my memory of the original scoops from back in the day . My memory must be very biased , and based on how they were compared to other old school bats . This new scoop was decent enough willow wise , and with modern shaping surely must be better than how they used to ....yet i was left thinking ' they don't make em like they used to' . Mldern bats a miles better . Period.

The off the shelf Dynadrives and Scoops were generally just so so, and aimed at a very mid range price point.
We have arranged for some wonderful bats to be made from LE willow over the years
