Simple words a absolute weapon when you hit it it stays hit , very chrisp and so well balanced you can tell it a special bat when you pick it up.
SS bat direct 41mm edge full profile still at 2-7.8oz with 1 grip very very nice bat not your normal SS/Ton. Thanks Chase for the refurb and to think I have sold this once and nearly sold it again good bat.

Really starting to be played in after taking my time with this one I love this bat
Gray Nicolls Halestorm 2/9.8oz
Big edged 48/9mm and a big spine but the Taylor has a slightly bigger spine.

Simply great bat and not overly heavy picks up very well indeed, Bought another 2 Gn on the back of this they simply not in the same league.
Overall these are the bats I will be using this season only hopefully one in games unless it breaks...
Just a few nets to choose
the cupboard is full of other bats some great but these are my favourite

Love the Chase, Dave. I am a big fan of the off-the-shelf Vortexs. Was at Dummer on Saturday, and they are a friendly bunch.
-
@procricket nice collection mate! How do you decide which bat to use in a game?
-
Nice kit....
All different profile... how do you adjust?

the final line up is already sorted....
net with them went off feel they all play roughly as well as each other.
I like to get to know my bats feel is key.

Why do I need to adjust it over rated is the middle position as long as there all balanced similar which they are in my hands I do not worry always gone for coverage over middle positions.
Get your weight into the shot only thing that matter is pick up I tend not to worry about owt else as long as they go well which these do .
weight difference they all pick up very similar the ss is slightly lower so picks up a bit heavier than the other bat but compensates for being naturally lighter.

Do you play your entire inning with one bat or do you switch them with different match situation?
-
My theory is not to over complicate bats get a nice feeling one if it goes well it in the club.
I'm not fussy I just like good bats and being around bats for long period you tend to know which one is good and ones that isn't (but that's for the individual I mean to judge).

I stick to one bat all season if I can. will net with others but only use one if I can.
Why change.
I go through lots of bats in the winter but hate changing much through the season.
-
First dibs on the Halestorm mate if you ever decide to sell pal
I've owned briefly the SS and Taylor and both are very special! Lost the SS in a bet! FFS!

I'm the same. Better with all over the winter and that's down to 4 now to net with over the comming weeks to decide which will be the match bat come first game. Once decided I will try and use that bat all season. Used 2 bats last season and had my best season in a while. Before that I was swapping bats every game and I do believe it takes a while to get used to a different bat and also some days just doesn't feel as good in the hands as other days
-
That's a "monstrous" collection you have there Dave. Would be envious if you had shown just 1 bat. Properly jealous of the lot.
-
That James Taylor GN is in the top 3 pinging bats I've seen - the thing's a trampoline!
-
That Halestorm looks the mutts nuts...
