Hi guys,
We are looking to get a new manual score board with the 7 segment flip numbers (similar to the cleverscore) to replace our old plywood board and old tin numbers.
Anyone aware of any good deals currently?
Cheers
Shaun

keep the tin numbers, as after a couple of years your get fed up with replacing the flip numbers.
-
Thanks for the advice. We would not be getting rid of them. just wanting to try out an easier solution as they are pretty heavy to lug round and take up valuable space in our store room.
-
We use the one from Slazenger. Our forum sponsors should be able to help you with this.

Where are you located? Trent bridge were dismantling some scoreboards and giving some bits away.
We are in the process of getting some of the pull/flip number boxes but they did have sets of the manual flip score numbers
Not sure if they have any bits left but i can send you the email contact.

Cumbria, so not exactly close. Thanks for the input tho.

Was just about to post in thread I had started a couple of years ago concerning an electronic scoreboard mate when I saw your post. Basically I've managed to build a fully electronic scoreboard for around £700. I know your post was pertaining to a manual one but if you're interested let me know.

Ilanz_bess are you still about ?
Could you help us build one with Dutckworth lewis as well as total of first team.
It would be great to have the two batsmen scores as well -
Anybody else done something like this?
Thanks

Sorry mate, just saw this. If you check the website https://buildyourownscoreboard.wordpress.com/ you should be able to get all the plans and necessary coding for options like Duckworth Lewis etc. If I’m not mistaken there was a club who included the DL option in their build. Unfortunately I won’t be able to help with the coding aspect, anything with regards to the actual build I can assist. If you contact the guys of the original build they can help with any coding issues/requests you may have, they are more than helpful.

Obviously I'm biased, but I find these scoreboards unreadable. The pictures on that website confirm the same. Digits are very blurry and the signs showing what info is what are tiny.
Also I've just read on the website that they are not to be left outside in the rain..... :o
In addition, 2 of the clubs listed on the website have purchased a scoreboard from me recently.

Im looking for a scoreboard but a digital one - I've found these guys which look great, anyone else got any suggestions? https://www.scoreboards.co.uk (https://www.scoreboards.co.uk)

Id get in touch with Jake whos on the forum and works for Durant we got a custom-made one installed and a DC9 from them for our ground.

Feel free to get in touch, we do approx 100 electronic cricket scoreboards a year.
Not my place to speak badly of others, but we do replace a number of boards from other suppliers every year that have broken down and the support is not as good as their websites claim, or (as happens a lot) they cease to exist as a business after a couple of years of operating.
