Title: X181 Cracked shoulder - Worth repairing?
Post by: Jaffa on April 25, 2017, 07:46:12 PM
Hello all, as the title says a team mate has an X181 with a cracked shoulder.

The rest of the bat is ok apart from a ding on a trailing edge.

Is it repairable?
If so, where is the best place to go?

Thanks in advance.

Did you Check the handle closer to the binding  to see if the crack is present there? In My experience, these cracks can run up the shoulder underneath the binding and ultimately resulting in a bigger break.

Yes you should change the handle or if there's no loss of power vibration etc  continue to use it
