Surprisingly light, obviously knackered (see toe damage - although I'm sure @tom line could work his magic :D) and maybe originally for another then-Slaz player, going by EM on handle? Handle is round and very thin, edges pretty big and signed by England team of the time.

Even knowing it's a pro bat the Slazenger stickers still make me think of Sports Direct... :-[

My guess too, although it definitely ended up with Prior and was likely used in Sri Lanka in 2012 (he hit 7, 41 and 11 in the two Tests)
-
I think that could be fixed fairly easily.
-
@tom line fixed one similar I sent him (Ayrtek bat) which had a much bigger split than that - so defo worth asking him?
-
Tweet Matt Prior and ask him :)

That's where it originally came from!
-
Out of interest who are the England players that have signed it?
Good keepsake even with the split, makes it even better in my opinion. Battle scarred

Quality! Pretty much the squad that won the Ashes down under. Missing Collingwood Finn and Tremlett I think

Shouldn't this one have been under 'Refurb'?
I reckon this one could still have some life in it.
Clean off the crappy signatures :o and some glue and bat tape to fix the toe. Should still be good for a couple more seasons.
Good luck with the refurb.
Sorry all... As an Aussie, i couldn't resist.
Nice bit of history with that one!
I'd be getting it framed to hang in my office. Nice bit of memorabilia.
-
Id definitely get rid of the signatures and refurb it.
-
I would donate it to the club and Auction it at the End of Season Dinner!
