Hi all, I am Bakulesh based in Abu Dhabi. I have been wanting to post on the forum for a while now and do resemble to most of you where I can't get over the temptation of purchasing a bat every now and then.
Coming back to the topic, I got my latest purchase from eBay for a wonderful looking mana limited edition. I still haven't received it, but wanted to get some feedback on this and hear any reviews on mana that anybody would like to share.
Pics to follow as soon as I receive the bat..

You could post a link to the eBay listing so we can have a look before it arrives :)

So it has finally arrived. Very pleased with the 1st site of it.
Having held it in hand, it felt it's weight of 2.9ish, which was a disappointment as I was expecting it to pickup lighter. Also on raping the ball, the bat seems to be very hard pressed. Is this something with GMs? I also had a Indian made GM Maxi 909 which felt very hard pressed.
I think all it means would be putting in few hours of hand knocking, (before my wife kicks me out of the house) before I can start playing it in the nets.
I will share the reviews in some days time once I have played the bat in.

GM bats take longer to open up. I have few GM bats that I will be using next year. It will take me few months to get them ready..

GM used to be quite hard pressed 90%+ of the time and needed lots of knocking and playing in. In fact there have been cases when it seems to have taken many months for a GM to start pinging. There are 3 bits of good news though!
First is that GM always sets very decent standards of craftmanship and quality.
Second is that most of the pressing of GM bats these days are responsive sooner - yours sounds as though it may take a while to play in?
But lastly, when the GM is played in and starts to respond, they tend to be guns!
I have known several from my experience and GMs that belong to teammates which felt hard at first, but once they start to ping.....YES!
I would recommend giving it time and stick with it! It may take a bit of knocking and playing in, but once it starts to respond, you'll be very pleased you stuck with it!!

I have a GM mana original - 2017 model. It did feel hard pressed but I took to nets. Bat was ready to go after a couple of sessions. GM bats from previous years need more time to open up, but now they made it match ready. It opens up much faster. However when you compare these bats to other brands, it might still feel like way too hard pressed.
