Title: What's the difference - Shrey Masterclass Air and Pro Guard
Post by: Bat and Ball Cricket on May 23, 2017, 02:06:58 AM
Hi guys,

Looking for some clarification here.
I'm considering one of these online.

Other than the 'Air' being lighter, i can't seem to figure out the difference between the Masterclass Air and Pro Guard (both titanium).
One youtube video, stated the lids are the same and its just the grill thats lighter... Aren't both grills in titanium and so should be the same weight?

Anyone with both lids to confirm?

Essentially, i'm trying to figure out what the extra money buys going with the Masterclass Air. From the online research, it seems to be for a reduction of 150 grams?

Cheers.

I didn't think the pro guard was titanium, off work today but will have a look tomorrow.

That's what i thought too.
My local stocks the Masterclass Air in Titanium and the Pro Guard is Steel.

But having a look at ProDirect, the Masterclass Air and the Pro Guard are both available in titanium and steel.
Same thing if you look at the actual Shrey website product list.

Based on the descriptions from ProDirect the Air has an 'Advanced Airflow system' and is 50g lighter.

That's about it.
