Title: Spartan MSD Helicopter cricket bat.

Got this bat during a recent visit to India. Its bit of a departure from Spartan's regular profile but quite chunky. Ping is very good and it seems very well pressed too. Starting to knock this week, should get to know the real performance in a matter of few weeks!

Weight - 2lb 11oz
Edge - 45 to 47mm
Spine - 54 mm
Grains - 7

Big bat for the weight 2-11.. looks like a mid-lo sweet spot. Hope you hit some big ones like MSD.

It's huge mate! How is the pick up? Does it feel like 2.11?

True. I wasn't planning to buy a spartan but after seeing the size of the edges and checking for ping .. i decided otherwise  :D

Feels 2.11, but i don't feel the weight when i swing the bat. Can't really explain why i feel that way.

From a friend in Chennai. Managed to pick 6 bats in total.

I shipped all of them to US through DHL. I didn't want to risk carrying them in hand given the increased scrutiny in US airports.
