Doing a refurb on my uncles gray nics powerbow, removing the old stickers, I come across this?!?
Anyone got any idea?!

Queried it with my uncle and turns out he thought he toe would be more secure with some nails involved.

Is this a piss take, thought hammering something into the toe would make it more secure.....could possibly be the most CBF thing ever

SF actually got a huge amount of stick on here for the nail in handle fiasco but one of my old school GN's had a small nail/tack used to start off the twine on the handle!
