Hi All,
I have a GM Icon 808 which currently weighs in at around 2.12 but it's too heavy for me and I'm much happier using my new 2.9 bat.
Do you think it would be possible to reduce and Icon by that much weight and still be useable? I would be happy to have it undressed.

Although 3 ounce is a lot of wood from experience it can be done.

That's a fair bit of weight mate. You may just have to buy another one!!! All jokes aside there are a few people around who might be able to help. Whereabouts are you based?

Hi mate. I don't know the shape of your bat. If your 2.12 has alot of wood in it ( i.e. not too much concaving ) then it is possible.
Having said that any decent batmaker should be able to rebalance your bat to enhance the pickup to your needs without taking the full 3 ounces out. You would need to be present. Also I would expect they would tell you to save your cash if a good job couldn't be done.
