Title: Bat Wax

I am doing a refurb on an old Robert Pack Blueroom (thread from when I purchased the thing - http://custombats.co.uk/cbforum/index.php?topic=36191.0 (http://custombats.co.uk/cbforum/index.php?topic=36191.0)).

I removed the scuff sheet and then got carried away and removed the stickers....unsuccessfully as most didn't come off cleanly, so its now a "blank bat" - not a bother.

After sanding its looking great but I want to get some bat wax to apply. I see Salix and Aldred do wax - is there much difference or should i just go for the one that's cheapest.

Or you could reach out to Rob , tell him your dilemma . Perhaps if you sent the bat to him he'd resticker it and give it a coat of 'special brew' ?

ok thanks - I'll stick to doing it myself as I have to say I'm enjoying it and I'm not bothered about the stickers.

Perfect. Make sure to melt that wax first and let it set. All the bits of dead bees etc will sink to the bottom. Its pretty dirty.
