Title: Icon cricket bat
Post by: Maverick06 on August 04, 2017, 02:44:47 PM
Has anyone used or seen Icon cricket bats in action? How are they compared to the bats mentioned on this forum?

I have seen a couple popping up on Ebay's Australia site. They looked thick and solid. Can't say how do they pick n feel but looked reasonable for the prices.

I believe the bats are indian made, not sure exactly where, but top end models are full and at very useable weights, and the lower models are very reasonably priced. almost every team in my comp has 1 or more players using them as the brand is local, seen users make horrible ducks, and seen users make fantastic hundreds. I use the signature gloves and pads, very good quality, lightweight and aesthetically pleasing all white styling.

I would be cautious buying via ebay as icon sell sticker sets, so you may not be buying a genuine bat.

I have an Icon Signature that I bought at Romida. Absolutely flies, enormous for the weight. Definitely Indian made, but apart from the stickers not being too neatly applied the only gripe I have is the handle being quite thin.
