Lad in our league was awarded a whole dukes kit for winning the warwicks batting award a few seasons go. Bat went well. Lasted a season and a bit. The lad does score alot of runs.

The Dukes brand is owned by Morrant. Not sure that helps much?

If it's not stating the obvious, I do know that the bats are made somewhere in India.

It would have been a better story if he won the batting award without scoring a bean all year... :-[

Sarky. I meant it only lasted a year but it probably would have lasted a bit longer in others hands.

I was actually being serious!
A few years back when we had more games rained off than were played down Soufff the batting award in a couple of went to a stupidly low number!
