In CBF experience which bat has the highest middle?
After many years I've realised I hit the ball higher up the bat than some more cultured players
-
Millichamp&Hall Amplus.
GN AUS - XP 80
-
My B&S Revolution Black has a pretty high middle!
-
Newbury GT

Newbury GT
That's a name I haven't heard in a long time. I really did look for it but I couldn't find one – they phased the model out. They were also expensive and Newbery were very inflexible on price.

the xp70
a few about at the moment too

Probably the Gray Nicolls you've just sold to the 1st XI skipper!!!

High middles kick butt ! Xp80 and revolution black might be the highest . Agree with others mentioned too . Not the highest , but c.a bats are pretty highish middles and feel that way in the hands too .
There was a blue labeled oz g.n , about 6 years ago ( used by David Hussey) , came out the same season as the xyphos and ignite models..... that had a super high middle.

Now that's something rather unique! BDM make excellent bats, they tend to taper the width of their bats slightly from front to back, so width at front can be around 107mm and back could be 103mm. Clever way to pack the wood in the central area/make a bat appear to have more volume than it actually does.
Do let us know how it turns out!
In terms of higher middled bats, Amplus, GT, one of the Charlie French shapes and one of the Chase shapes too. The old Kookaburra ranges from 2013 all had high middled too from memory!
Always find higher middled bats give excellent coverage and pick up, while lower middled bats tend to keep the ball hit!

My old uni skipper had a butterfly GT that he picked out of their bargain bin. £150 I think, probably the best performing bat in out team, and we had some useful sticks amongst us!

^ Stories like this make me want to cry sometimes.
Was TK making those bats then? I got an Amplus that I'm told was made by TK. incredible bat.

GM Paragon or Six6

@InternalTraining I'm not sure I'm afraid, I was only just on the forum and didn't know much about batmakers and batmaking then!
