Hi guys,
Need some assistance if that's ok- I've seen a Newbery B52 Bomber Limited Edition on ebay and was wondering whether anyone could asceratin either way whether it is a genuine item.

Some points:
1) The toe guard isn't a Newbery one, it's plain, is that a sign?
2) Also, there aren't any blue edge stickers at the top of the bat, although maybe this version didn't have them.
3) Do Newbery bats have any engraved markings on the shoulder of the bat like Kookaburra?
The seller says he won the bat in a raffle.
What do you guys think, stay interested or run a mile?
Thanks in advance for any advice/thoughts.

Avoid, they are junior stickers on an adult bat
-
Not the shape of the shoulders I'd associate with a b52 model, or any Newbery bats.

Thanks Tom, really appreciate it.
Thank you

Thought I'd seen that sofa before, but then on second looks it's different

Don't think it is. A friend of mine has one and we've got a match today so I'll take a look at his.

Stickers look quite different. I would avoid.

Yes - there should be a letter and number of the shoulder e.g. C3
The letter signifies a year and the number signifies a batch number
The shoulders look the wrong shape from the photo although not easy to tell without looking at a closer photo - Tim Keeley's are smoothly shaped and quite easy to recognise.
without better photos I would avoid!!

It was allegedly won this summer. That is six years after the last model was sold by Newbury. And it has to sharp of a spine.

That's a Hunts, or I'm a Dutchman.

It also would have hammer edge which it doesn't...
