I have just read that Kookaburra now make the baggy greec caps for Aus and with no new helmet coming from Albion since the new British Standard, the question has to be where next??
Anyone know anything?
See this for the story on Warner's lost and found baggy green...The tale behind Warner's new baggy green http://es.pn/2wpRlwQ (http://es.pn/2wpRlwQ)

Is this what media has gone to... They have nothing else to do but talk about hats?

You're obviously not an aussie then ?
A missing baggy green would be , in a lot of people's eyes , worse than a missing p.m ( and we had one of those! ).

What respect did the players show to the baggy green in their recent pay dispute?
I am fearful of the damage that's been done by CA and the players, not a lot pf love or sympathy out there at the moment for our cricketers.

Fair point . I know a lot people with your opinion , and a lot with the opposite too though (i fall somewhere in the middle). Irrespective of how much /little you perceive the current players to respect the baggy green , the public still holds it in the highest esteem - and that was actually what i was getting at , and that makes it , if not 'news worthy' , something a journalist may think warrants reporting on .

Coming back to the OP, would have loved to see a new Albion helmet meeting BS standards. They offered good helmets that were different back then and it's a shame they seem to have exited the market
