I was wondering how when concaving a bat how to make both sides equal and also what tool could I use to do this. I have tried locating a round plane but cannot find one does anyone know what other tools I could use

Travisher or heel shave.
Do try and search.....There are loads of threads

I may have a spare round plane in the workshop. I'm in the process of sorting through some tools so can't check and get back to you

If you get hold of a wood flat bottom plane, you can concave the bottom with a sander, and then grind the iron to fit. This is what I did, with help from Ed at G&F. It works pretty well, and is a lot less expensive than buying a bespoke plane.
