The first of three matches this week is starting at 3. It's on Prime TV/PTV Prime/something like that if anyone wants to watch it. Channel 792 or thereabouts on Sky.
Some decent players in the visiting side, Collingwood obviously the biggest name by far but there are some other guys like Amla and Morkel that one or two of you might have heard of.

Collingwood isn't playing therefore this series is fake news

It's eleven letters AND he has an MBE to tack on the end. The others can't compare unless Perera cheats by using all of his middle names.

Narangoda Liyanaarachchilage Thisara Chirantha Perera
I could literally have just mashed the keyboard for his second name there and none of you would have known.

Since you asked: Warnakulasuriya Patabendige Ushantha Joseph Chaminda Vaas
Even better if you see Bumble's story from when he was coaching England, something about Sri Lankan names in his accent crack me up.
EDIT: This Sri Lankan lad wins the longest/best name contest, Mahamarakkala Kurukulasooriya Patabendige Akila Dananjaya Perera

poor Russell Arnold must have felt so out of place..
-
Fine, if we're doing full names then:
Paul David Collingwood Member of the Most Excellent Order of the British Empire
Still the biggest name in the squad.

This Amla guy looks quite useful

Bit of a farce if this series has international status. Players only risking their lives there to pick up the 100k cheque

True - but I wonder why someone like Faf, Amla and Morkel would risk it considering they have decent amount of cricket left and they can make $100,000 easily.
-
Colly's still got it in the field :*)
-
World XI wins this one, their bowlers contained Pak batsmen.

Players are given presidential level security now (faf said he felt like he was in a movie).. spare a thought for those ACTUALLY risking their lives - those poor constables on the front line (easy targets if anyone wanted to do something bad), and the tens of thousands of cops, soldiers, etc who have made the ultimate sacrifice in the war over the last few years.

Is it just me or Ben Cutting is using Velocity Player Choice bat?

Narangoda Liyanaarachchilage Thisara Chirantha Perera
I worked in Sri Lanka for 2 months and I have to tell you that most of them have names like that!!
Thankfully most shorten them and had a 3 or 4 letter nickname!! :(
-
Miller and Faf can take it home. World XI is struggling. Good bowling by Imad.

:D :D :D
CBF poster's curse, Faf gone. :D
