Always thought it was odd a lot of WI players bat wearing a watch, assume it's sponsorship or showing off, just seems a bit pointless to me!
-
Could be so they know what the time is?
-
They like to bat time ? ;)
They are sceptical and want to test the impact resistance of their new g-shock ? ;)
I have often wondered this myself . Seems odd when all cricket grounds have clocks etc . I could understand a fitbit being used on the wrist (although gps/heartrate monitors can be worn on the back of those bra like singlets). Perhaps they are using gps functions on their watch ?

I think you'll find it's a coaching aid to help their timing.
Ahahahahahahahaha!!!

Suspect most of those watches were gifts from the rich ipl owners - pollard got a fair few from MI

I missed the T20i against England! Oh well, WI won and if they keep winning T20is who care if they wear giant watches. All tennis star wear huge and pricy watches to their games too - Nadal, Federer, William sisters.

Are you sure it isn't to remind the England players .... its hammer time!
Break it down !
-
Our West Indian wears 1 too!

Richie Richardson was one of my favorite players as a kid, for just this reason.
I've done it a couple of times, just by accident where i forgot to take it off, it didn't help my game one bit!
