So whats the story with Bradbury ?. They seem to be a popular choice but are they custom made ?. I,m reading up all i can but i,m definitely favouring a Hell4 Leather at the moment. Although i was a little disapointed not to see any of their bats in the All Out Cricket catalogue i picked up today.

Made in India (not a bad thing) - Bradbury are not the brand they started off as, they were fantastic quality handmade bats from Somerset, but now they're not - go for h4l and request for the demon logo on the edges :) or any one of the other batmakers on this forum!

When I went to Romida the other day they were the bats I were most dissapointed in. I was looking forward to seeing them but didn't look at anything special.

sweetfeet ,we missed the deadline for all out cric, however we will be in the gear test in april :-)

I have to agree. The first group of Bradburys I saw were pretty poor. Nice shapes but poor looking willow for the prices being asked, was kinda shocked to be honest but maybe they played better than they looked.
-
Well thats Bradbury crossed off the list then. Matt i,m going to ring you soon and hope to arrange a visit so i take a look at your gear. Probably as soon as you have the 2010 range available.

Are Bradbury still around?
-
Only Burns gone.
-
Ahh right, Bradbury Cricket Ltd are showing as dissolved on companies house. Perhaps trading under a new name
-
Haven't looked that far, might pop in and ask Richard later this week what has happened.
Still having sheds of bats finished.
-
Was just looking on Companies House and noticed, perhaps that was their old name when Sally and Paul were still here.
Will see them in a week anyway at SCS.
-
Mike Burns is gone to Globe sports.
Bradbury is being run under the SCS umbrella.
Hand picked some beauties from their warehouse, will put the pictures up soon

phoenix platinum bat (harrow), albion helmet, little kook bag, woodworm performance gloves and kook genesis pads. Then got my old skool duncan fearnley spikes form sports-direct for £14.
Glad my equipment has moved on since then!

im from australia and im sure bradbury is still being handmade by paul and sally bradbury in western australia. Australian batmakers grade there bats on performance not looks and it is the right way to grade. i have a 13 grained bat with no blemishes but it is grasde for as it has low ping. I also have a 5 grained impala with a knot in it and it flies. The knot doesnt hinder performance it actually flies. So all your accusations that their bats dont "look good" doesnt mean the company is broke and are making crap.
