I was waiting for you to ask that haha - there is scope for a limited run in the new year (as you know ;)) but more info regarding coloured versions will follow if/when I get round to it!
-
@Neon Cricket amazing kits mate! I am very tempted to get a pair of your batting pads.
-
@Neon Cricket Hi Adam great work! Love the look of the kit.
With the wheelie, the boot section, is that a internal "saggy" pocket?
-
Very classy, if the bat cover had neonprene written on it I'd definitely buy one :D

Thank you, much appreciated! Feel free to take advantage of the forum discount :)

It is. The pocket is a pretty robust material, but not sectioned off inside (same with the duffle). It was something I wanted to explore changing but the additional cost wasn't worth it IMO (the padded bat cave already mitigates the issue of bats being dented by boot spikes which was the main concern for me!).

Would tipp-ex suffice? Haha
-
Wow. These are incredible pads, best I have seen in a while. Very impressed.

@Neon Cricket I genuinely think if you could find a way to have a very small colour co-ordinated square transfer that you could add to your softs to bring the range together then there is a possibility you would have the best range out there.
I think you have done the right thing and ordered clean and neutral softs etc... but if you had a little transfer you could add to the gloves and pads that you supplied based on bat selection.... omg, that could tip it over the edge... literally would only need to be 1cm squared or less....
-
Thank you @Cover Drive/@Boondougal, I know I've said it before but it really is appreciated!
As for the coloured square/transfer idea, I've half been exploring a similar idea so glad you've mentioned it - I've looked at something along the lines of an interchangeable logo/panel which could be changed to either any of the colours or plain, but it's something I definitely need to spend a bit more time on as it's not quite as simple as it sounds!

Surely using a transparent vinyl material as you have done on the bat stickers would work? Should be flexible enough not to crack/rip Yet still offer that flash of colour to catch the eye?
Can be added/removed by the end user easily enough and should be pence in terms of price being that size.

@Neon Cricket I"m 100% sure its important to test it and get the right material but I genuinely think if you can get that flash of colour it would be the icing not he cake..... not every customer will want it and there is definitely a trend for the "white" softs but having the option would be seriously innovative.
@Ayrtek Cricket seems to think its good idea...a if anyone recognises innovation its that brand right there.

The stickers themselves are still double laminated so that particular vinyl wouldn't stretch enough, but a cheaper alternative would be easy enough to sort. My initial thinking was more elaborate, along the lines of a replaceable panel (with some sort of attachment/velcro etc) - but you and @Boondougal have definitely got me thinking. The replacement panel throws up a ton of issues/risks but being as one major part of my day job is risk avoidance/mitigation it's something I'm sadly interested in ha!

Thanks Gary, same goes for the B&S gears. A lad from Trowbridge bought your softs this season - truly lovely softs!

Haha thanks, glad you like them. With regards to the keeping gloves, excuse my ignorance but I'm not entirely sure what double webbing is! (Can you guess I'm not a keeper?)
Do you mean the full webbing compared to a 'T' webbing on the cup? If so, then no they're not T-webbed, just the one panel on the cup (please do correct me if I'm going down the wrong line!!).

In the stickers though.... this time next year Rodney.... you my son might have a tenner
-
Adam best looking kit ive seen for 2018.
-
@Neon Cricket @Churchy1989 I believe it has to be on piece of leather from finger to thumb? Not sure double webbing is allowed in anymore
-
Lovely looking gear. Think the pads and gloves will be on my chrismas list!

Good choice even if we do say so ;)

Afternoon all,
Just a quick heads up as I'm now down to the last set of LH softs for 2018 (already!). All of the soft goods for 2018 are due into Felixstowe on the 22nd, so if anyone was looking to order LH gear in the new year then drop me a PM. Happy to put the last set aside for a CBFer.
Cheers,
Adam
