I'm going to give the new stickers some love. I think they are better than last year....and if you are thinking female anatomy, that says something about you, not the branding!

Just seen them on PDC. I'll be staying Puma FKW for the 2019 season, because I obviously wouldn't pay full price for it in 2018 :D
Black and gold for me. Might take the stickers off at the back lower half.

I know this is a necropost, but I really think Puma was a sizable loss to the industry. Their soft designs were always flashy and innovative, and their top-end lightweight pads were awesome.
I'm starting to find the traditional look quite boring now, as everyone does it. I wish Puma was still around!

Have to admit Puma's pink pads were one of my uni student loan purchases, and more than likely part of the reason Neon even became reality.
I'd totally agree that things have gone a little bland in the softs department, but a lot of the time it's what the public in general want. This year especially there's good reason for things being very 'same-y', but hopefully there'll be some artistic licence returning in the not-too-distant future. I'd love to bring out another properly bright set of softs - the designs are sat waiting!

Agree. After having tried the two strap pads from morrant and others, don't think i will ever go back to the traditional 3 strap pads. The light weight and two strap design makes it so much easier to play/run during long innings. Plus when you come to bat during a chase, since you already spent the first innings on the field, your legs will thank you more for the lesser weight. Puma did have interesting options back then. Wish there were more two strap/lightweight options out there from all makers.

When the old posts come out, the old posters come out. Been a while since I have had anything interesting to add, but I was gutted to lose the Puma ranges. Whilst they did have some over-indulgence in type and colour, the two strap pads really made a difference. I think I had the 4000 or 5000 range of Calibre pads, which had two straps, and the Iridium 6000, but they were a bit too rigid and OTT. I always liked the look of the Karbon/cobalt, which had a balance of traditional and new look.
