Morning all!
I noticed VKS did a video on the new for 2018 Kook Fever Max - saw the grain structure and thought it looks lovely. Well weighted for volume, nice shape, etc. I then looked on various pages to discover it was Grade 4 Willow which is usually bleached... the Kook website claims the willow to be unbleached - but it begs the question, how can such a stunning looking blade be considered G4?
If anyone has any info on these it would be appreciated? I suppose it could be they're higher grade other than blemishes in the playing area (which I usually avoid in favour of edges and toe)..
TIA :)

issue under a sticker, possibly filler maybe?

if it was a demo bat, that may be the reason why it had a decent look about it. But the Max should be premium grade 4 unbleached willow

Thought it could be too good to be true! :(
