Title: Cricket trousers
Post by: Davehugh on November 27, 2017, 07:35:37 PM
In my continual mission to feel like a pro cricket player does anyone have any recommendations for cricket trousers. Something with a tightosh fit and good venting (I'm A sweaty bugger!)

The cheaper of the two types of adidas trousers are good for that.

The New Balance trousers are a good shout as well, can barely feel them in the field and very breathable.

Addidas ones are great - stretchy and light!

I agree they're the best for comfort, but I totally destroyed 2 pairs in quick succession ripping the knee to shreds diving (falling over more like) in the outfield so don't expect them to last long. I bought a pair of Kookaburra to replace the last pair which admittedly aren't as light but the material's much stronger.

Samurai Sports trousers are pretty good! They were dead cheap too!

Think in true CBF fashion I'll ask for both for Christmas and see if I've been a good boy this year!

So got the NB for Christmas (Lucky me) and found them really cream colour and very see through which looks odd with my teams playing shirt so went back. Ordered the Adidas 2018 howzat version that look more of an off white colour. Ill update when they arrive.

I need a full set of new whites (so 3 x trousers, 3x shirts, 2x jumpers) this year and Adidas are winning currently so interested to hear more in the NB stuff.

I’ll get the shirts badged up as the surridge ones are crap so I’m not wearing them

I bought some NB trousers midway through last season - yes they are see through (fortunately I wear compression stuff anyway) & are nice an lightweight even compared to adidas I had previously. I've also picked up a sleeveless jumper which is quite nice (my clubs stuff is all GM).

Better than Adidas ? The only negative to Adidas I have is their trouser length sizing. Always way to long

Fully agree on this.  Love the Adidas trousers but wish they’d offer a leg length option.

Yep that was it for me plus the poppers at the bottom went so it was a bit annoying (I bowl). Both are rubbish to get clean

Have had Adidas kit at our club for last couple of years shirts seem small and trousers seem along  mine where chopped to the appropriate length and super glued and stitched the poppers to the length I liked

Would quite like to get a pair of the Asics trousers but seem costly inporting from Aus as cant find any in UK
