Doesn't teach those kids in the video I watched how to hold a bat properly or how to align their hips either.
It may have some merit to help with holding a diamond shape, but you could use a sweat band and some string or elastic bands just as easily.

Having used one of these, it does work quite well as you can lock the arms in place via the bungy cords,
is designed to get bat paths and instant feedback

It mentions improved footwork, I can't see how that would work via bungee cord on your arms. Looks a load of tosh to me
