Hi. My village team are looking to tour North Devon this coming season. We're looking for a Friday evening T20 and fixtures for Saturday and Sunday on the weekend of 20-22 July or 27-29 July. We are Flyford Flavell CC, Worcestershire and play Wednesday and Sunday friendlies only. We have some good players who play league cricket but we are largely a social side. If you can offer any fixtures or recommend any clubs to try and get in touch with this would be very helpful.

A couple of your players play for us on Saturdays and they are good players.
I think the one who opened the  batting with me in 2017 ave  around  90.

My Team toured Devon last season, and I cannot recommend North Devon CC enough. Not sure they'll be able to accommodate a weekend game, but it is a wonderful ground in a great setting with genuine friendly people there too.

I haven't played there for a long time but Braunton CC used to be a lovely place to play and a pretty decent side. Where are you staying?

Yes we have some good players, but that's playing in middle/lower Worcester league and they are very good at village level. However, we've toured Liverpool for the last few years and there's a jump in class when playing Lancashire league teams with overseas pros. One team had a West Indian player who smashed four 6's off the first 4 balls of a match against one of our best bowlers. He retired on fifty shortly afterwards, only for them to then tell us he was more of  bowler than a batsman! We're happy to play some stronger teams but our club is more focused on enjoyment that the standard we play at.

Don't know where we're staying yet. We'll decide once we've confirmed at least 1 fixture. Thanks for the help, I'll try to contact the clubs mentioned so far.

				Try exford cc

They play league games Sundays, so might give you a game Saturday

Lovely ground and a decent wicket, I've played there on and off for a few years.

I've no contact details tho, but I'm sure there's something on play cricket etc
