We've got a good one coming.......

When a company comes out with a duffle with a padded waist belt , wheels that dont dig into your back/butt/legs when using it as a backpack , and a retractable hard pull handle -then , and only then , will i consider buying one .

@The Doctor any more details on features (bat pockets, storage compartements, shoe section, etc etc) you can share?

padded waist belt
Don't encourage them, I'm taking my cricket bag across the ground from car to net or changing room not a bloody weekend hiking!
I'm just hoping someone will do a properly compartmented organised duffle at some point rather than just variations on the theme of big bag with some smaller pockets.

Im using public transport /walking to get to grounds all over the 'suburban sprawl' of sydney ..... so i need to encourage them ! :D getting to a game is almost like going hiking for me sometimes .

Also a duffle which stands on its own without kit in it would be useful. I'm sure it could be done without having rigid sides, maybe just a couple of cane supports internally like the H4L stand bag?
-
I am personally looking for a set up where the shoes do NOT get crushed by the rest of the kit.

I’m using the H4L stand bag having picked one up in there Black Friday deal. Personally as a wicket keeping opening bat Iv struggled to find a duffle that can fit all my kit which is only 2 bats, 2 Gloves, Pads Batting and keeping, shoes, keeping gloves, spikes & whites without having to jam it all in. This H4L bag would fit double of everything I need and stands up perfectly, better than half the duffles Iv had. Ok if using public transport you may struggle but for me size, build quality and value for money (in the sale) maybe just maybe best bag ever.

Which one do you currently use?

I always have my spikes in a separate bag and put them in the top if my duffle. The pocket at the base of me bag designed for shoes gets my flipflips for the shower, mainly to give extra padding at the bottom of my bag to protect my lid!

Has anyone bought the two top-end Kookaburra duffles yet?
They both look great from IJC/VKS reviews, I'm very interested in picking one up.
The Kook Pro Extreme and Pro D1 or something?
-
Pics of my offering are in the below topic 👍

IF you’re carrying minimal kit I’d recommend the phantom medium players duffle.
Light and compact, and has a valuables pocket.
It’s been really comfortable for my walk to uni training

@billyb I have a pro D2 duffle in the shop, it’s a very decent size bag. How much are you carrying to want the extreme bag?
-
Hadn't considered the Pro D2, is the Pro Extreme especially big then?
-
Just bought a 2017 pro D1, I guess they’re now discontinued.
-
If you buy a D5 duffle, be prepared to buy another!
Every single zip on my bag broke after 3 months
