Sudden Passing of Russell Evans
It is with great sadness that we announce the sudden death yesterday evening of B3 Director and ECB umpire, Russell Evans.
Russ was taken suddenly at just 52 years of age. We are going to miss him greatly. The cricket world has lost a true gentleman who just loved his family and the game.
Our thoughts are with his family.
Rest in Peace Russ x

Really very sad news indeed. Condolences to Russell's family, friends and of course his work colleagues at B3. Met Russ, being a B3 customer, attending the first couple of birthday parties as well as seeing him at Old Trafford when he was officiating in the County Championship. What a terrible shame.
