Has anybody ever seen a drill bit attachment for cricket studs, or for that matter football/rugby studs?
-
No I haven’t but would be easy to make with a metal stud key and a welder just would need tacking on the bit that takes the screwdriver bits

My only question is why do you want one?

Arthritis?

Arthritis?
I find the key pops out of the spike when I do it by hand (may be my lack of coordination causes this issue) so I'm wondering if a drill attachment will help or hinder

You need to keep your left elbow up 🏏🤪

I’d worry about too much torque and snapping off the spike

Or rounding of the thread in the shoe.
Can always lower the torque on the drill, if your drills posh enough.

Good point! So, being a gentleman of a certain age I do struggle with that nasty arthritis thing.....but more importantly I have just received a new drill for Xmas. It's one of those flash things with the fancy torque control. Thought process is that with 20 minutes of fiddling (and the right drill attachment) I could set up a set of spikes or footy boots in a couple of minutes. Agree it's overkill but that's not the point! Why has no-one thought to solve this before? I'm sure we could find a Dragon with a spare £250k to support it.

If you do send them my way, would help me fast track some products 👍
