Evening chaps.
As I’ve recently departed with four of my bats, I thought it was time to show the ones that I replaced them with.
Still not exactly sure why I got three because, as I’ve been told far too many times, apparently you can only use one bat at a time?! Big question is - how many times can you change your bat in an innings of 20 odd?
Anyway the bats. Not in any order of preference, just as they come on my images.
First - Supreme; 2.10.
I’m sure/I hope I’m not the only one who has bats in almost every room of their house just in case I fancied playing an outstanding forward defence. This does mean that my parents have to endure looking at bats all day. However, this one got the seal of approval from my mum, as she said it was the ‘nicest bat’ she’s seen. The grains speak for themselves both front and back and I’m a big fan of the stickers, especially the embossing on the face. I was apprehensive about the handle as it’s more round than I’m used to, but have used it in one net and I’m getting used to it! Just waiting to get a white grip on it and I’ll be happy!

Next up - Pro L/E; 2.10 (with Supreme stickers on).
This one is yet to be used but the ping has been decent from the tap ups I’ve had on it so far. Fits just in the old regulation size thing, which of course makes a massive difference to me playing TVL Div 2! Again grains are cracking and picks up nice and light. Noticeably more concaving than the Supreme, but always enjoyed this shape. Hopefully will fly once I knock it in!

Lastly - Kohli profile; 2.11 (Pro L/E stickers on).
This sticks is a Grade 2 and because of the sheer size of it, I couldn’t turn this down. The handles just the right amount of oval and it picks up almost as well as the other two. Being the sensible chap I am, I didn’t bother knocking it in and just went straight for facing someone with a relatively new nut. Needless to say, there are a few seam marks but the response straight out the packet was exceptional, something I wasn’t expected to be so immediate. Only about 7 grains on this one but one of the best bats I’ve ever had only had 5 so it doesn’t make too much of a difference. Big fan of the pink stickers too!

Only four months until the start of the season and I’m sure I’ll be further adding to my collection before then. Cheers!

The 1st one looks an absolute beauty. Love me a full profile. All 3 look great though, hopefully they'll bring you many a run this season! Also I was abit apprehensive about the supreme stickers but they are starting to grow on me.

Totally agree bat 1 looks like a stunner, although personally never had or seen a bad B&S

Tapped up davehugh's at southwest net. It felt very nice. My daughter had a size 2 B&S, it was a nice bat too.

Are these b&s bats English made? Rewind the clock about 20 years my old man imported b&s from South Africa, from Much Bellingham himself! Were top bats,I know for a fact Jacques Kallis and Allan Donald used them.

The majority that are sold over here are English made.
