Title: Mason Crane

We ought to be talking about his bowling. But am I right in thinking he's left Newbery for New Balance?

I didn’t see him bat but it was mentioned in another thread that he’d left Newbery for New Balance. Haven’t seen any of the highlights, I saw that he bowled 17 overs. Anyone know how he did? I heard an interview with Warner who was surprisingly complementary towards Crane

Good reports in the paper for a young lad making his debut. He is not going to change the world overnight. I remember Warnes debut and if the selectors had bottled it after that he may not of become the great bowler he was. No comparison at this stage thou.

I could be completely on the wrong thinking here but this tour may see us start looking for a specialist spinner who takes the ball away from a right hander.

If Stokes comes back in and bats 6 and we have Woakes in the side as the third best seamer and a lower order batter(which we should have) then Moeens days could be numbered.

Yes it's only one bad tour for Mo and a lot of us fans love him but time might be coming to make some tough calls.

Could be wrong I often am I here....but gut feeling is that's the ways it's going.

Anyway, the wicket is turning expecting Crane to bowl well.

I do t know whether he can bat decent as well, if he can there could be a spot for him(if we play one spinner going forward which we usually do)
