Right well i have a salix and it was great last season but it doesnt feel as good as it was do you think its worth sendin it for a refurb before the season or does it really not make much diffrence?

It may well just need a quick sanding down, and given a few coats of linseed oil, which is pretty simple to do yourself if you have some time on your hands.
-
I'm thinking of sending mine back to Salix.
Do you know how much they charge?
Also, will I be able to get the new stickers if my bat is from last season?
-
Craig how much would it be for a refurd from u m8 or do you not doo them nomore ?
-
To be honest don't think a refurb will make a difference if its not pinging anymore.
-
its nice of the middle like leo but it doesnt feel as good as it did last year and it hasnt been used for 5 months so do you think id could need to be played in ?
-
The willow could have dried out a little bit throughout the winter break. I had the same last year. I have a lovely Gray Nicholls Fusion which was brilliant towards to the end of the previous season, used it in the nets after a lengthy break and didnt feel as good.
-
The only way i could offer any advice is if you could stick pics up of the bat so i can see condition. If it went well last season then i don't see why a refurb wouldn't help, but better if i could see pics. It may just need a good sand and a light oil and knock in again.

ill take some pics now watson any ideas how to get them on this ?

Get a refurb done on it and I'm sure it will be just fine.

Sanding down and another coat of oil should replenish the look, the ping might never be found again though.
