Good luck to them.

interesting article, note the ss jumbo profile is going to make a return by the looks of it....
-
I have to say that the stickers look very nice.
SS Jumbo brought a smile to my face. :)

Love the heritage, they were great bats back in the day. I do think that the pricing of the new brand is pretty optimistic, though I notice it has been reduced recently. We'll see how many are in use this summer I guess.

@Buzz @petehosk anyone considered approaching them for a forum Q and A? Could be quite an interesting one.
-
Good question, would be nice to do, but the aren't selling through retailers and aren't sponsoring the forum, so it might not be fair on the current sponsors...

Can we do some Q&A's with current sponsors then? Sponsor interaction was one of the areas where people felt we could have a bit more, and if they all say no they can't grumble if someone else says yes ;)

Yes! My question to Shark and T-Rapta is; Where are you?

Theres a surridge shop by me they have a jumbo in he window. You pick what you want from catologue and when it's delivered to the outlet they phone you to collect and pay.
-
Why aren't they using the Surridge name? Would make sense to, surely?
-
They sold the rights to Surridge.
I noticed their kickstarter campaign had only had 2 investors when I looked the other day.

Ask a stupid question...

I thought the whole idea of kickstarter (On a product side) was the give people the opportunity to buy the product at a discount of it's market price.... £1000 for two 'test' bats is just stupid if they are trying to encourage people to buy into the brand.
They would be better off dropping their margins on kickstarter and getting their name and brand out and being used.

Yeah the £1000 option to get two bats totalling £640 seemed bizarre to me too
