Title: balls!
Post by: Jamieh on February 11, 2010, 12:34:05 PM: Anyone got any decent quality used balls? I'd like a couple for knocking in some new bats and for winter nets that start next week. hoping to come out of (early) retirement to play again this summer!

Post by: Jamieh on February 11, 2010, 02:13:22 PM: hiya, well I'm just coming out retirement this year at the grand old age of 33 mainly thanks to this forum (haven't played for about 5 years as I lost my love for cricket), and hoping to play for Bourne CC if I can still tell one end of the bat from the other! used to play in the Northants league a few years back, but moved to lincs.

On another note, still trying to find some old balls if anyone can help? I'm guessing Talisman has been some what busy with the £400 bat thread!

i have a few good quality used balls i can send you mate, about 5 in total, ill do them for £8 which will cover postage of about 3 or 4 quid and leave me enough for a pint later :) send me a pm if your interested

I'm quite excited about getting down the nets having not played for a few years, and having made my own bats thanks to H4L and getting some part mades of him, can't wait to get them used!

Thanks talisman, didn't want to chase as sure you've been busy since coming back from India.
