In the market for a new lid I think but unsure what to get - any help greatly appreciated
-
Assuming they fit your head nicely the Masuri OS II Titanium would be my suggestion.
I have found the double bar grilles to be relatively restrictive vision wise and the os ii lids are pretty light.
You will need to get different padding for inside the lid though.
P.s. app20 gets you 20% off one of these...Masuri | Premier Helmet 82 - https://www.sportsdirect.com/masuri-premier-helmet-82-855005?colcode=85500591 (https://www.sportsdirect.com/masuri-premier-helmet-82-855005?colcode=85500591)

Head??? Normally use large...

Shrey air i find the gap too small- I would go for the masuri as well
-
I’ve had all them and would recommend the OS II titanium which I stuck with after all the others
-
my shrey masterclass air just arrived today and i think its fantastic, would definatly reccomend

I have the Masuri VS Elite with the double bar. I actually find it helps my vision but it did take some getting used to and I think is definitely heavier than the others.
-
I have a single bar ti grille and a double bar ti grille, both new style. Surprisingly the double bar is fractionally lighter.
Not sure about the steel versions
-
I love my titanium OS II, transition from the old style masuri was effortless
-
Sorry , i know its not in your options for suggestions but.......ayrtek all the way !
-
^ Agreed.
Ayrtek is an amazing product!

bought an ayrtek a few months back...absolutely stoked with it...the carbon one is droolworthy

I've never worn a helmet but getting older and slower I've finally invested in a helmet. Went with the Shrey Masterclass Air Titanium...
Cant really compare it with anything else... just wanted the lightest helmet... but am sure someone said one of the GM one sis lighter...only had net session with it.
Found it weird and still have some way to go before being totally comfortable with it.

Between the Ayrtek and the Shrey, which has the best visibility? I have a Masuri VS Steel helmet. Looking to upgrade to a titanium one but visibility is a key deciding factor.

Anyone tried the other sports direct Masuri lid, as looks like a mix of the VS and OS? Photos don’t show the inside, what does that look like and does it have the wheel adjuster?

Improved vision has always been a constant point of positive feedback from the unique shape of the shell Design due to its elongated shape offering a wider perhipheral vision when worn.

Easy way to get used to helmet... walk around wearing it and watch tv with it. Eventually you'll be fine in the nets
