Thinking of switching from my SL22 Boosts to either the gel advance 6 or the 2018 Payntr X MK2. The reason I'm switching is because I find I was slipping alot on the square when fielding in the SL22 boost and I could never use them for batting as I'd slip too often. I'm primarly a batsman and a fielder so anyone had any experience with the 2? which one is the most comfortable. I also felt with the SL22 boost after 50 years i felt sore in the feet!!!

Not tried the Asics but the Payntr x mk2's are very comfortable and light. They are quite small tho.

What about sl22 normal?

Can you get to a shop and try them on? If so, just buy whichever you find more comfortable. If you're buying blind, I'd go for the Asics all day long.

Ah sugar,,,, I’ve just got some sl,s
Really don’t want to be slipping, and I already get sore feet from my asics

Asics any day!

Anyone else using the payntr mark 2’s get sore toes ? I think the upper is too firm when planting your foot I really feel it in my toes, getting my boosts spiked up and will go back
To them

My big toes were in bits after my first outing, will give them another go in the field Saturday but bat in my spiked up trainers

You could try the normal SL22 as they have the same upper as the Boost...its just the sole plate thats different. If you are looking for a comparison between the Payntr and Asics, then I would say both are very good shoes, but the Asics are a class above! They really are very comfortable and would be my 1st choice.
