Title: Duffle bag recommendations
Post by: 19reading87 on April 30, 2018, 06:35:51 AM
Hi guys,

So as some of you who are my Facebook friends on here will have seen I’ve just moved into my first house, and with this I’ve come quick to realise I’ll need a duffle bag.

What I’m looking for is something brand new, which will fit 2 bats, 1 set of pads (yes really!!!!), 3 pairs of gloves, strippers, boots and a lid. I don’t want a huge duffle having owned some duffles in the past they can be massive. Ideally something really compact and nice looking.

Cheers Reds

Powerbow 6 duffle is extremely good and can fit three bats and keeping pads as well as batting

I use the GN Predator pro and carry almost exactly the same gear in it as you want to. Happily recommend it, it's a good managable size without being so small you have to cram everything in - not super compact but it's not stupid large like some. Decent amount of pockets for all the extra odds and ends too.
Only thing I don't like is I keep my whites/towel in the lid pocket which can be a bit annoying pre-match when you're trying to get other stuff out of the main compartment, but that's only a minor problem really. Stood up to a season's wear and tear very well bar me snapping off one of the zip tabs.

I can second this, Powerbow 6 1000 is great.

Mine has gone down well with customers who have had them for this season, @tushar sehgal kindly did a full review of his in the thread below for ref.

Yup, pocket for 3 bats at the back of the bag, I hunted for a perfect duffle for ages, this is as close as i have found.

Sorry to hijack the thread but does anyone know anything about the H4L pro series duffle?

aside from the price! :)

Kookaburra Pro D2. Excellent bag, best duffle I've used... I'm a big fan!

I love the Ayrtek one, it’s spacious, with lots of pockets and it pretty much stands up on it’s own.

What’s not to like?

I'm moving to a trolley, but the GN Supanova has been absolutely brilliant for me

I would personally endorse the Ayrtek, I have downsized my car so the trunk is smaller and I like to keep my cricket gear hidden somewhere in the house anyways so this duffle is perfect. its narrow/slim and tall (enough to have your bats inside the their covers in zippered bat pockets.) I was using the Kookaburra duffle before and it felt fat if that makes sense and have used SS, GN 1000, Shamrock and RS duffles before...

i've got 2 bats, 3 pairs of gloves, thigh guard, shoes, helmet, cup, couple of mallets, grip cone, some grips and minor accessories, glasses, hats, towel etc in there...
