Title: Fixing this

Hello gents!

As the only one with any tools for the job, i've been given the task of fixing my mate's bat after it cracked on Thursday at nets.

I've attached pictures below, but was wondering what the best course of action would be?
I have some sandpaper, gorrila wood glue and some bat tape - will that be sufficient to complete the job?

You will need to clamp before taping also you could scuff and tape

Also where should I locate a clamp from, it’s the one thing I don’t own!

Glue and parcel tape. A clamp would be good but not essential. You may find it difficult to clamp without cutting some wedges so if this proves a problem leave out the clamp. I would not dowel it as I can’t see how that would add strength. You’re lucky as it’s actually an easy fix and should last a long time.

I did one very similar for a teammate recently, I packed the crach with glue and wrapped it tightly with parcel tape while it dried.

It's actually a pretty simple repair, no dowells or anything like that needed. Just get plenty of glue in there, wrap it tight and give it plenty of time to dry, then sand down to tidy up and apply a scuff sheet.

Glue... bind it with parcel tape as a clamp... then bat tape or twine...

easy job...
