Title: Bishops tachbrook on tour

Hi guys, my Sunday side are on tour in Stamford Lincolnshire in September and are looking for a game on the 9th (Sunday)

We understand the leagues round there have been pushed back into September

We’re struggling to get a fixture for the sunday

If anyone can help give me a shout

Looking for anywhere working 30 minutes of Stamford ideally!

We have a home game that day I’m afraid.

Best thing to do would be to browse the fixtures on the Rutland League website and work out whether any teams have a gap in the fixture list (we have a few in the middle of the summer for example, so some teams may have a free Sunday on the 9th) http://rutland.play-cricket.com/ (http://rutland.play-cricket.com/)

The area has a pretty extensive Sunday league system, the Rutland League consists of 7 divisions. There’s also a lower standard played in the Grantham and Melton league which is 3 divisions. So it may be a tough ask to find a game/ground. Generally both leagues run into mid sept as standard except for maybe the lower reaches of the divisions.

My usual go to recommendation, peterborough CAMRA CC have a fixture that day unfortunately.
