Played (and lost) in a match last Saturday when one of our guys scored 11 consecutive 6's (not consecutive balls)
Went from 40 odd to past a ton scoring nothing but maximums. Never seen anything quite like it.
Have you experienced more 6's with no other scoring shots in between?

3 in a league game by a player who hit 1000 runs in 8 league innings. They were back to back off a very young medium pace bowler

Bloke once hit me for four consecutive sixes, then a four, then ran a bye to the keeper, in a six a side comp many moons ago, at a gargrave cc, lovely little ground
His name was a Richard Thompson, (Arron Brindles dad)

Love Gargrave - I played there once for Johnson & Johnsons works team... Magnificent pavilion and folklore has it that Boycott hit his first ever hundred there!!!

Seen the same lad at our club hit the last 3 balls of a game for 6 both times win us the game once in T20 and once in sat league cricket. Pretty sure he hits more 6’s than he runs singles

One of my pld captains launched 4 in a row out of the groubd onto the street ar Richmond CC all the exact same shot but each one bigger than the last.
One of their lads then topped it with 5 in a row during their innings including a straight drive that smashed into the bolwers ankle so hard that it stillwent for a flat 6, his leg was like a rainbow for 2 years after!

Judging by the fact he hit 80 4's and 42 6's in 25 innings @Simmy, I'd say he deals mostly in boundaries and likes to give it a tonk ;)

mate of mine did six 6's in an over in a sunday friendly a few years back.

My favourite was standing at the other end from our O/S. First ball and he clears the ropes, second ball leaves the ground (bearing in mind our ground boundaries are 70m square and 85m straight...)... anyway, this continues for ball 3, 4 and 5 of the over.
I'm stood on my bat handle at the other end expecting the next ball to be deposited for 4 or 6... but no - leans on one and a quick single to mid off. :(
