Hello
I've recently seen a few threads about £100 bats and people wanting a net bat etc. I bought a Hunts County Custom at the end of the season last year but only had chance to use it in 3 games. Now I've netted with it a bit I feel I can review it.
Bought through Talent Cricket - Custom made option on the bats web page
Weight: 2.13
Grain: 14 approx
Price £100 (price is now £109)
I asked for another Hunts bat to be copied, this one picks up the same but is not shaped like the original and has no concaving (personally not a fan).

The original I asked to be copied was a special bat, close grain and incredibly powerful. I naively expected the copy to be exactly the same more or less but have obviously realised this would be very difficult.
Pickup is probably about what it weighs maybe a touch lighter but I asked for no concaving and play on the front foot so it gives me confidence knowing there is some weight in the bat. For 2.13 I would have expected a slightly larger profile but for £100 I cannot complain.
The ping is superb, it flies off the middle and mistimed shots still have power. For £100 it's a belter, for £200 it's a belter! :D
